Educators have been exploring and experimenting with generative AI since its arrival nearly three years ago.  Most of these interactions have been through chatbots, text prompts and a generative text output such as a lesson plan or project design.  There is an entirely different approach to AI use by educators that empowers them to create custom digital tools and learning experiences for their students.  What is described as “vibe coding” is essentially the ability to have a generative AI tool create code to bring your vision and text description to fruition as a fully functioning digital web tool.
