Greg Kulowiec brings a calm, knowledgeable voice to educators navigating the ever-changing world of technology. His deep expertise in instructional technology not only informs but also challenges and inspires teachers to reflect on what it truly means to teach in the 21st century. Participants leave his sessions with practical, real-world strategies they can immediately apply in their classrooms. Just as importantly, Greg creates a safe space for teachers to share their worries and concerns—particularly as we all work to understand and thoughtfully integrate AI into both education and everyday life.

LESLIE SCOLLINS, assistant superintendent, curriculum instruction and assessment, cohasset public schools

“Greg Kulowiec delivered an exceptional professional development experience that resonated with both our teaching staff and parent community. His ability to connect with educators at their current comfort level, while opening doors to innovative AI applications in education, was masterful. Multiple teachers approached me afterward to say this was the best PD they'd attended in years—a testament to Greg's engaging presentation style and practical, relevant content.

He didn't just talk about AI in abstract terms; he showed us concrete ways to enhance teaching and learning while addressing the real questions and concerns our community had.

Greg has a rare gift for making complex technology feel accessible and exciting rather than intimidating. I would highly recommend him to any school looking to empower their educators with meaningful AI literacy and tools."

“THINK OF THE CAR, GOING FROM zero TO 55 IN THrEE SECONDS. I WENT FROM I ‘DON'T USE AI, IT'S BAD FOR LEARNERS!’ TO ‘THERE ARE INFINITE POSSIBILITIES TO CREATE ACTIvITIES THAT PROMOTE REAL THINKING’ ...IN... THREE.... HOURS.

“The human-centered (i.e. think, use ai, think) context was the element that completely shifted my thinking. I have a ph.d. in epistemological development, so i am excited to know that ai is a tool that can promote growth in critical thinking.”.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Greg for more than a decade, in different districts and in different roles, and his impact has always been impressive. Greg worked directly with my middle and high school colleagues at the Sweet Home School District in Buffalo, NY. He helped teachers design student-centered lessons as we rolled out our one-to-one iPad program. What stood out was that he didn’t just show us how to use the technology—he sat with teachers, co-constructed units, and created practical lessons that really lifted student learning.

I was fortunate to collaborate with him again while serving as superintendent in a small district in Orange County, NY. Greg offered in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and self-paced online learning, which gave us flexibility to match the needs of our teachers. He helped not only our teachers and students, but also board members and the wider community, to better understand the role of technology—its research base, its creative potential, and how we can use it to redesign teaching and assess learning in more meaningful ways. His work built capacity for everyone involved.

Most recently, in my current role as District Superintendent of Nassau BOCES, I introduced Greg to our 56 component district superintendents. He shared practical and forward-looking ways to support schools as they navigate today’s fast-changing technology landscape. As always, Greg took the time to understand our learning community and shape his message so it reflected our values and our needs.

What I appreciate most is Greg’s ability to stay ahead in a constantly changing field, while keeping his work grounded and approachable. No matter someone’s comfort level with technology, Greg makes sure they can engage and grow. That’s what makes him such a valuable partner.

“Before partnering with The Kulowiec Group, most of our staff didn't know a lot about AI. Some feared it. Some hated it. After Greg's workshops, though, our staff came to see AI for what it is: a tool that can help educators make learning more accessible and more interesting for more students. Importantly, it wasn't just our newer staff who took to Greg's lessons; several of our veteran educators found ways to implement more engaging activities and to differentiate their assessments. Because of The Kulowiec Group's PD, our staff continue to make teaching and learning better for all students. “

JOHN SCOPELETTI, MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, COHASSET PUBLIC SCHOOLS, FORMER CURRICULUM DIRECTOR, SOUTH SHORE REGIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

“Greg Kulowiec’s sessions with our students and families were a powerful catalyst for meaningful conversations about technology use. His work with the kids stood out—he engaged them with relatable scenarios, practical examples, and a genuine understanding of their digital world. Students were not only attentive, but continued talking about the insights long after the sessions ended. Greg’s ability to connect with young people while guiding them to reflect critically on their online lives created moments of real self-awareness. The combination of his expertise, approachable style, and deep respect for student voice made a noticeable impact on our school community, leaving both students and staff better equipped to navigate the ever-changing digital landscape.”

Jared J. Perrine, Director of Technology Narragansett Regional School District MassCUE Interim Vice President

We were fortunate to have Greg present multiple sessions to both middle and high school students on the advantages of AI, as well as the challenges that come with the technology. Greg’s presentation sparked genuine “ah-ha” moments for our students, giving them a deeper understanding of AI’s power and how it can enhance personal learning, boost creativity, provide feedback on student work, help organize ideas, and more. We highly recommend having Greg present to your students to help them make informed decisions about how to effectively implement AI.
