JESSICA GARBOWSKI
CREATIVE CONTRIBUTOR
Jessica Garbowski is an educator with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in Massachusetts as a public school teacher in many roles and various subject areas. Jessica has a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership. She worked as a middle school educator for 17 years, and she currently teaches Digital Literacy at the elementary level. In addition, Jessica is the school librarian and an instructional technology facilitator.
WITH THE KULOWIEC GROUP, JESSICA HELPS TO FACILITATE WORKSHOPS INCLUDING UNDERSTANDING AI, AI LITERACY AND MEANINFUL AI APPLICATIONS.
Jessica has a passion for creating curriculum and supporting media and AI literacy education at all ages. As a Google for Education Certified Trainer and a member of the Google Education Advisory Group, she works with teachers to enhance instruction and pedagogy through technology. Jessica collaborates with the Media Education Lab as a visiting fellow and serves as a part of the DESE AI Task Force.
She has presented at various professional conferences, including MassCUE, and works with other districts to implement technology training.
vanessa Miller

Vanessa is the Technology Integration Coach for the Narragansett School System in Rhode Island, where she supports teachers in creating transformative and equitable learning experiences with technology. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE KULOWIEC GROUP, VANESSA helpS schools and organizations build AI literacy through professional development and strategic integration.
Her workshop OFFERINGS range from AI basics and classroom-ready applications to AI literacy across K–12, assessment redesign, and custom sessions aligned with district goals.
Vanessa also partners with local organizations in AI and EdTech to deliver impactful PD that bridges research, practice, and innovation. She is a Code.org CS Discoveries Facilitator, an adjunct professor at the University of Rhode Island where she helped design the course Teaching Computer Science K–12, a board member of EdTechRI, and a member of the CSTA-RI leadership team. Her work centers on equipping educators and administrators to navigate the evolving impacts of AI and technology on teaching and learning.
