AI SUPPORT FOR PARENTS AND FAMILIES
AI EMERGED NEARLY THREE YEARS AGO AND ALL LEARNERS AND EDUCATORS BECAME MEMBERS OF AN EXPERIMENT THAT NO ONE WAS PREPARED FOR. THIS ASSEMBLY IS DESIGNED TO HELP PARENTS / GUARDIANS BETTER UNDERSTAND THE TECHNOLOGY, THE IMPACT ON THE LEARNER, THEIR BRAIN, AND BOTH THE RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY GENERATIVE AI. PRESENTED FROM THE LENS OF A PARENT, AND EDUCATOR, GREG WILL HELP FAMILIES ENHANCE THEIR UNDERSTANDING TO BE PREPARED TO HAVE BETTER CONVERSATIONS AROUND THE TECHNOLOGY.

PARENT PRESENTATION: THE INS AND OUTS, AND IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA
DesSOCIAL MEDIA SERVES AS A POWERFUL TOOL FOR CONNECTION AND SHARING LIFE EXPERIENCES AMONG YOUNG LEARNERS. HOWEVER, IT ALSO BRINGS SIGNIFICANT RISKS AND CHALLENGES THAT CAN AFFECT STUDENTS' WELL-BEING. THIS PRESENTATION AIMS TO PROVIDE PARENTS WITH A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF BOTH THE POSITIVE OPPORTUNITIES AND THE POTENTIAL DIFFICULTIES SOCIAL MEDIA INTRODUCES INTO THEIR CHILDREN’S LIVES. BY ATTENDING, PARENTS WILL GAIN VALUABLE INSIGHTS INTO HOW STUDENTS CAN DEVELOP A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL MEDIA, ENABLING BETTER SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE AT HOME.cription goes here

AI in Everyday Life: Practical AI Skills for Everyone
Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of how we work, learn, communicate, and manage our daily lives. This engaging and accessible session is designed for employees who want to understand the basics of AI and discover practical ways to use these tools with confidence—no technical background required.
Participants will learn what AI is, how today’s AI tools work at a high level, and how to identify opportunities to use AI in everyday situations. Through real-world examples and demonstrations, employees will explore how AI can help with tasks such as organizing information, improving communication, planning activities, learning new skills, increasing creativity, and simplifying everyday challenges.
The session will also cover important topics including responsible AI use, privacy considerations, evaluating AI-generated information, and developing good habits when working with AI tools.
By the end of the session, employees will have a stronger understanding of AI fundamentals and practical strategies they can immediately apply at home and in their personal lives.

NOTEBOOK LM
I honestly don't think there is a more powerful platform that everyone should be exploring. With recent updates to the platform, notebooks can now be shared amongst teams and users. Further, my most recent approach is to record ideas or conversations I am having with others (typically in person & with permission of course) and then I drop that audio file into a Notebook. This approach allows everyone in the room to focus on the conversation and being present with the discussion, knowing that we can return to the ideas and interact with them later in the notebook.
-
VIRTUAL MEETING AND NOTETAKING
There are countless tools are the market and I can see that you are already using Tactiq. I find Zoom's internal GenAI note taking & summarizing tool to be helpful and reliable. However, my favorite approach is to take the audio file from a zoom call and drop it into a NotebookLM notebook. The notebook will automatically generate a transcript and it allows you to then interact through a chat or audio interaction with the text version of the audio file.
-
SLIDEDECK DESIGN
This is completely doable and I actually lean towards a text generative output first, followed up by the visual / graphic design elements in either Google or Canva. In your particular use case, I think that a combination of text tools for the text component and mapping a presentation would be a good approach. For this type of work I tend to layer NotebookLM for file analysis / accuracy of content and then combine that output with a broader advanced reasoning model to outline a plan of attack and strategy for the slide deck content. I'm partial these days to either ChatGPT deep research & reasoning model, followed up by Gemini.
-
RESEARCH
Whereas the first approximately 2 years of Generative text output created words and ideas, as opposed to truth and accuracy, with the current models the output can be easily grounded in actual content. For the purpose of conducting thorough research in a wildly efficient process I typically use Gemini 2.5 pro or a ChatGPT research model (right now I've been experimenting with 4.5). In a matter of moments an entire research plan will be generated and content will be generated based on the research design. Again, what I find to be most helpful is to grab the links from this type of research (it can be a significant number) and compile the links into a research notebook in NotebookLM. Then, you can interact with the research and extract precise quotes across multiple files or links.
-
NEWS TRACKING
I actually do this personally for my own research. You can generate tasks in ChatGPT (with the version your team uses) to run automated web connected searches around any topic of your choice. This would be an ideal workflow to allow your team to stay up to date on a specific topic or to keep an eye out for specific type of news that may break. Like the slidedeck design idea, I would then take the output and refine it with a follow up prompt / interaction, or dump the output into a NotebookLM notebook to allow for further analysis and find connections between reports or generated output.

Gen ai agents/agentic ai
I think it could be worth exploring media creation for your team as well. It seems like you often are tasked with creating pitch decks, and I think including video elements in these decks could enhance the presentation. Google's most recent model Veo3, as well as ChatGPT's Sora are both outstanding models to generate high quality video that could be used as small looping segments in a presentation.
